SCPC Sends Reasonable & Relevant “Pre-Comment” Letter to CMS
The Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition (SCPC) submitted comments on the Calendar Year 2027 Home Health Prospective Payment System proposed rule, focusing on proposed changes to Medicare enrollment provisions.
In its comments, SCPC applauded the work of CMS to address fraud and waste in the system while protecting services for those who need them most. SCPC urged CMS to ensure that changes to Medicare enrollment requirements do not inadvertently impact beneficiaries or disrupt the services they receive in LTC settings, including skilled nursing facilities. The association requested that CMS avoid unnecessary administrative burdens and access challenges that could interfere with continuity of care.
